To cater to a growing clientele of Muslims in forex trading, the No Riba or Islamic forex accounts was created. The principal belief of Muslims in financial speculation is that the concept of interest is bad and should be avoided at all costs. Muslims, by faith, cannot earn interest on their deposits. Investors can trade in forex, but not earn interest in their opening accounts.

Open an ISLAMIC Forex account today:

www.nriinvestindia.com/forex.html

Roll over fees

The policy of faithful Muslims is to avoid receiving or paying interest in any kind of economic activity. The interest charged in a usual forex account is known as SWAP or roll over fees and they can vary from one forex broker to another. As a Muslim, anyone can opt for an Islamic forex account in keeping with the person’s faith. Muslim forex traders are not charged interest on their opening accounts to avoid non Muslims from feeling discriminated against.

The reason why non Muslims feel they are not being fairly treated is that Muslims can keep their open accounts for a long period without any interest. This is one of the downsides of a Muslim forex account. Many people also misuse the facility by maintaining two accounts, one Islamic and a normal account. They take a short position on an Islamic account and go for a longer position on a non Islamic account. The profit in one account gets cancelled by the other.

Many Muslim forex accounts are called Sharia accounts as well with free options for getting more Muslim clients. Many traders using both accounts can offset the loss on one with the profit earned from another. This system is also known as carry trades and is not allowed by many forex brokers who want to stick to a fair rule for everybody. Many professional brokers do allow traders to maintain both accounts in keeping with the growing demand.

Total compliance with Sharia laws

You can find accounts with forex brokers that are in full compliance with Sharia laws and you can open a real money trading account. With the forex brokers, you can also get to practice at their demo account which is a great way to master the technical and fundamentals. Once you sign up, you can request the broking firm for a swap free account which is easily downloadable. You can send them back after signing to the broking firm where you have your Islamic forex account.

Usually, all broking firms have a set rule about the swap account. As soon as they receive your request after you send the filled out and signed form, the accounts department of the forex broking firm will file it according to Islamic accounts guidelines. The policy to be followed by the firm will automatically be swap free.

But the brokers will always verify whether you have submitted the right evidences for maintaining the account and also if there is any complaint, they can ask you to close the account with them. Once you get your Islamic forex accounting systems done, you will begin to enjoy the same features of the Metatrader platform that is available to others for availing the forex sign up bonuses.

You can also enjoy the leveraging facilities and the options trading that are enjoyed by others. These are common advantages that forex traders with a Sharia account can also enjoy. You can trade in more than 70 currencies, futures and CFD’s. Like others, Islamic forex account holders will be assigned a forex account manager and you will be entitled to 24/7 support and service for making money in the very high volume speculative of all trades.

On the national multi commodity exchange of India the online gold futures trade would be launched very soon. This launch would literally place India with New York and even the Tokyo commodity exchange in terms of gold. This would benefit many exports, jewelers, banks that are into bullion trade do a fantastic job and it would secure them from the sharp price fluctuations actually. This online gold futures trade is being launched over the online commodity futures trading terminal of Geojit. This would really enable India to be one of the countries that would determine the price of gold in the world gold market.

There are quite a number of people who try to protect themselves by positioning themselves over the international commodity exchange. But then there are quite a number of people who like to go for the illegal routes. It has been reported that at the moment demand is a little bit on the lower side. This is mainly because the rate of gold dollar has shown an upward trend actually. It has come close to a value of $1255.

It has been observed that both and dollars move in the opposite direction actually. And investors usually choose one as the alternative when the other is not as favorable. In India gold at MCX (multi commodity exchange of India) was found to do trading at a value of 18,966. This value coincides to a percentage of 0.57%.

A bank dealer complained that though they had been in position where they were able to do dealing of 100kgs but in a market where demands start coming up, it was not possible to strike a very good deal actually.

It has been pointed out interestingly that the deman for gold in a country like India which happens to be the biggest buyer of bullions show an upward trend during few particular months like the region between September to November. Basically in the month of November the auspicious occasion of dhanteras is celebrated. During this point of time basically people are interested in buying things made of gold, be it jewelries or any other embellishments.

If the rupee gets stronger then it would naturally have a very important role to play out here. The dollar denominated commodity would turn cheap as soon as the previously mentioned strength increment of rupee takes place. And this mainly happens because it plays a prime role in determining the cost of gold. The cost of gold is usually quoted in dollars. A poll has given an estimate value of India’s gold imports in the year of 2010. It came to 504.5 tonnes which happens to be a figure which is 24.5 tonnes more that what it was in the last year. Gold happens to be one of the most well known and popular commodity that is used actively as traded futures. Basically if we observe carefully then we will find practically every country has futures exchanges. Some of the countries are really lucky since they have more than one commodity as futures exchanges. But now let us have a look at the meaning of futures trading briefly. When the buyers and the sellers get involved in this kind of transaction, then there can be special contracts which they can choose to enter. One such contract is the futures trading contract. This process is usually aided by futures exchanges, here one would get the right to sell or buy any commodity or product or it can be any service in the future. Now this happens to be one of the most colorful and bright option as trading.

People love to make money from speculation and the entering the share market is a great way of investing money and reaping benefits later on. You can be a small or a big investor, but your main aim would be to buy stocks when the prices are low and sell them when they move up. Even though there are inherent risks in share trading like all other speculative markets, you need to know the basics of how to enter or start in the stock market before venturing in.

Open a Demat Account

There are two major stock exchanges in India for buying and selling shares online, the BSE and the NSE, where shares are traded and are favored by investors. They are two major stock exchanges with high volumes traded in a single day enabling investors to book profits as well as hold on to shares for some time to allow a price appreciation.

Shares are bought and sold by approved brokers who are enlisted with the major stock exchanges.

Your primary task would be to check out a bank that has a demat account facility and open an account.

You can open a savings cum demat account with a minimum deposit of Rs10, 000 and opt for either online trading with the help of the bank or enlist with a broker. Filling out the form is simple and easy and you need to provide some basic information as well as your identity proof. Instead of piled up shares on paper, your demat account will show your holdings at any given point of time.

Online facilities for share trading are offered by banks that also double up as brokers and there are a few major banks in India like ICICI, UTI, and HDFC among others that allow buying and selling shares online.

Compared to brokers, banks will charge you less in fees and commission as they would be directly dealing in the stock exchange. Private brokers will be charging their commission and you would also have to pay extras charges to the bank. You can log in and all online transactions will be carried out by the bank.

Check the sector where share prices are rallying

You need to select the type of shares you want to trade in. You can go for sector wise trading like concentrating on pharmaceutical stocks when they are rallying or auto shares when there is a boom in the sector or any other industry that is doing well.

Your primary would be to cash in on the boom in the market and make profits before the stock price reaches a high and then drops in value.

With banks as well as brokers, you would have to keep margin money on the basis of which you can trade. You could be allowed 10 or even 20 times of the margin money for day trading which is buying and selling shares on the same day. For taking delivery of the shares for sale at a later date when the price appreciates, you would have to keep sufficient balance in your savings account for the bank to debit the amount.

Your demat account will reflect your holdings regularly for you to check them anytime you want. Tax is debited by the bank on the basis of profits you make from transactions and by the end of the accounting year each March end; your bank will provide you with a statement for the deduction. While buying, look for the 52 week low price and sell when you have made a sufficient profit instead of waiting for the price to go up further as it may crash suddenly.

If you want to hear the story of Indian mutual funds, you need to brace up for some startling revelation. According to very recent estimates, the total assets managed by the mutual funds rose from $152.82 billion last August witnessing a growth of more than 8% since the previous month. After a brief lull when the stock market was facing the crisis that spilled over from the market tumbledown abroad, the surge has made many mutual fund companies launch their schemes with great gusto.

The growth in mutual fund schemes can be directly related to the surge in the stock exchange in India by nearly 62% in eight months this year. While the monthly returns were on an average 1% on all mutual funds, the mood among investors has turned positive. With lower bank deposit rates, people are again turning to mutual funds to watch their money grow steadily. According to Dhirendra Kumar, the CEO of Value Research, an asset management company, the mutual funds that led the way was again Reliance Mutual Fund, followed by HDFC mutual fund.

Want to Buy & Sell Indian Mutual Funds: www.NriInvestIndia.com

Humble beginnings with UTI – Trading in Mutual Funds begin.

The story about mutual funds in India goes back to 1963 when UTI or the Unit Trust of India was formed with the help of the Reserve Bank of India and the Indian government. As India was closed to foreign capital and investment in the stock market for long, the UTI had a solo run for nearly 25 years. It was only in 1987 when there were mutual funds by the public sector led by nationalized banks and the life insurance companies that existed. It was a much closed situation with gingerly steps taken to get this kind of transaction going.

There were no developments in the mutual funds scene after some small activity in 1987, but it was only in 1993 that great developments and changes were seen. It was the year when many private sector funds came in leading to many regulations and laws being put in place. As India opened up the economy and there was a great flurry of activity, mutual funds grew from strength to strength. Later, many international mutual funds came over to India to take part in the economic boom. As most Indians save more and spend less on retail, the mutual fund managers have never had it so good.

Growth fuelled by rural demand

Assets under Indian mutual fund management are estimated at US $150 billion. With the prospect bright, many fund managers are coming over not only from the US, but from Europe and South East Asia also. But not all of them can make it big as the market is highly concentrated and the top seven or eight asset management companies have a stake of nearly 70% of the total market. While there was a surge in the operations of private mutual fund companies in the last decade, the share of UTI dripped from a market share of 77% to just 18% from 2000 to 2008. It also showed how interest in private players has grown with the opening up of the Indian economy.

But the modest beginnings made by UTI nearly 50 years ago managed to trigger interest in mutual funds after so many years. There is a new market waiting to be tapped in the rural areas of India where purchasing power is increasing and the population is not averse to checking out alternative investment opportunities other than banks. The reality that mutual funds can provide better returns has found favor with the rural and semi urban population of India where the majority of the people live.

Whether forex trading is perfectly legal in India and there has been a series of debates on this subject. Primarily, there is a feeling that India has long been a closed economy and many sectors open elsewhere in the world were closed as far as India was concerned. But with the reforms in place and the opening up of the economy to foreign investors in many sectors, there has been a never before opportunity to trade in the currency markets at the click of a mouse.

Online from home at the click of a mouse

Forex trading is done from home these days using the internet with an online forex broker. You can trade in the currency markets from the comfort of your home at the click of a mouse. Ever since the global forex trading office Many Forex brokers have opened its offices in India, the country has been reckoned as a favored destination for forex traders and on the same lines one can open a forex account free of cost with these brokers at very low commissions and fees.

And if you are a foreigner and want to stay on in India on business or work, you can play the currency markets as you are used to in your home country.

Compared to other nations where forex trading was perfectly legal years ago, India is now among the many nations where forex currency trading can be done from home at the click of a mouse. Forex trading is also nothing new to India as currency trading has been taking place for many years.

Forex trading has been going on in India for the last ten years and it was couched under transactions of capital accounts. But things are fast changing as India is poised to enter the big world as she steps up the race to keep up with China.

The premier bank of India, the Reserve Bank of India or the RBI had earlier banned remittances for currency trading. Remittances for margin money to facilitate forex trading were not allowed by the RBI in India. Many Indian multinational companies made way for this lucrative trade to take place in India.

Reliance Money started off by introducing Indians to their partners offshore in currency trading and also allowed the intrepid Indian investors used to commodities and stocks for speculation to participate in the global scenario.

CFD or contracts for differences

They were the ones that really kick started forex trading among Indians and brought in retail traders to the circuit. Earlier, the Indian investors could only look forward to stocks and commodities. CFD or contracts for differences was a new concept introduced by them so that investors could check out forex markets and also trade on different exchanges like indices, commodities, stocks, treasuries and forex.

Things are fast chancing in India and the country is racing to keep pace with China as the emerging Asian tiger. The main reason for India as a choice destination for westerners is that the country has a history of colonialism and there is a large pool of English speakers in India. Many of the business systems are at par with those in the UK and the US and the people are not averse to western influences as was the case with China some decades ago.

Forex offers great opportunities online with the launch of operations by Alpari in June 2009 opened the floodgates. The company has also invested loads in training brokers and investors to take advantage of the growing popularity in forex trading. Compared to the ever popular stock market trading in India, many investors are logging in to trade in forex.

As the market is open 24/7 and the volume is unmatched at trillions of dollars each day, forex is fast gaining popularity in India.

In case you are still confused about the active role of ESOP, you must study well to be well aware of the different functionalities of this plan/scheme. ESOP, also known as Employee Stock Option has been designed to facilitate existing workers and company’s staff members to purchase the shares of their companies beforehand with much confidence. This type of project will certainly help your to consider yourself to be a member of your company. You will be in good financial position by making the deal.

Utilize Opportunity

ESOP will give you a golden opportunity to utilize the scheme for purchasing shares from the company itself. It is just a reward on behalf of the company’s management. Company is very satisfied with your performance track record and therefore it is offering the good option to buy the stocks by future date.

However, simultaneously you must know that if the stocks/shares skyrocket, you will taste the fruit of profits but it can also face nosedive. In this case, you need not get worried and it is up to you to shrug off the option. Now before making any written commitment, you need to know how fantastically ESOP performs and how you will get benefits by taking the chance.

Know the Exercising Process

Frankly speaking exercise is the process of transforming the given option to stocks or shares. However, to exercise this option, you should pay the exercise fees. It is very urgent to pay the total price. In actuality the exercise price is taken for changing the option to company’s shares.

This type of transfer requires some charges or fees. Suppose if the total price rate is 20 rupees in Indian currency and you desire to exercise 100 options, and then calculate the total exercise price rate. It will be 100X10= Rs1000. However, you must exercise with much care because there is time limit for taking the option.

The exercise period basically begins from first vesting day. For exercising the option, three accounts should be in activation. You must open the following accounts such as NRO Demat Account, Trading Account and NRO Bank Account (Non Resident Ordinary). There are a number of procedures for completing the exercising process. At first Broker holding trading account takes the full responsibility to hand over ïClient Master Details to the specific applicant/ client.

At the next step, that client will again transfer the detailed information to his workers or staff members of the company. Later, the company management will be responsible to send back the stocks to the DMAT account of the client. Finally, it is up to the client to keep shares or directly sell those stocks/shares with the help of his personal trading account. In the long run, when the shares will be sold, the cheque will enter into the client’s NRO bank

Check Other Details

However, it is mandatory for the client to collect the ‘Auditor’ Certificates. In addition, he should deliver few details for the issuance of that valuable certificate. He must provide the banking details.

The bank statement will have to show that the money has been shifted from your account to the employer’s account with the sole purpose of buying ESOP. Allotment letter should be prepared in perfect way to steer clear of the future hazard.

When the client will get the no-objection signal for the issuance of the Auditor’s Certificate, he is free to sell the existing stocks/shares in the market. At the last lap, the money collected by selling the shares will be transferred into the client’s trading account.

However, before applying for the option/plan, you must consult the experienced chartered accountant or anyone who has the vast knowledge in this ESOP related field who will give you vital feedback to take right decision.

Options trading are like taking a long view of the market instead of depending on short term movements and it is definitely growing big especially the Indian options market. As an options trader, you have the advantage of placing wagers on specific market outcomes that are based on your study and experience. In options trading, everything is predetermined and your losses are frozen as you cannot lose more than a fixed amount.

You can learn options trading from online tutorials and learn the ropes initially from friends or fellow traders who have made it big in the stock market.

Better suited for the experienced trader

Traders can benefit from a great amount of leverage not allowed in other forms of trading systems and transactions. But at the initial stages, it is advisable not to venture into options trading as you need to gain some experience in speculative market trading before you can venture in. The usual procedure is to bet at two possible prices the stock is expected to reach in 6 months time and in the event of the price settling between the two, you will lose only a fixed amount.

Option trading can firewall against huge losses that can wash away your investments in a flash. The method is known as the Long Straddle and traders can benefit from a huge amount of leverage. Normally in the US it is common for option contracts to have 100 shares embedded in them while in other countries it can be even more.

In places like India, Australia, USA, etc the option contracts can be 1000 times more than the stock and it enables traders to control large stock positions by investing a small amount of money.

Before you get into options trading, you should check with your broker and find out the leverages and the terms and conditions offered. For the first timer in stock trading, seasoned traders do not recommend options as it is loaded with a huge amount of risk. Large money can come in at the shortest possible time, but you also run the risk of losing huge amounts.

To get a hang of options trading, your best bet would be to take a short tutorial on the internet.

Option pricing spreadsheets

Investment professionals have fine tuned option strategies over the years and they have come out with some real good tips. There are option pricing spreadsheets that you can easily download for free and you can practice them at a demo account if your broker has one.

You can also practice the moves at the tutorials to hone your skills. As an options trader you can place your bets on specific market outcomes unlike other traders who are dependent on the movement of the market.

At the tutorials, the trades are hypothetical, but they can arm you with the necessary knowledge and expertise required for real time trading. There are investors and experienced traders who have developed their own models for options trading. There is the European Black and Scholes pricing models for options trading to enable you to calculate better.

Unless you understand the option strategies, you will be totally at sea as the market is volatile and losses are common.

Most traders undergo losses as they do not have a strong grounding in the fundamentals. You must know how to use the test and risk rewards of all the different types of strategies.

Stock trading is fast catching on after the meltdown as many traders have fine tuned and adjusted their strategies to suit the changing scenario. Investing in stocks can be more rewarding if you learn options trading from hands-on tutorials that offer step by step guidelines.

Learning share trading can open the floodgates to riches as many investors are finding out. You can start off with a small amount of money to learn the ropes before investing more and buying and selling in bulk. There are risks involved in share trading like they are at all speculative trades, but the share prices follow a pattern of movement. If you can study the price history and the background of the companies you are interested in, the going can be easy.

Trade online

You can learn share trading online at any of the virtual classrooms that use videos to show you exactly how you should make your moves. Nowadays you do not have to go to a stock trading floor to trade as you can easily do it from the comfort of your home at the click of a mouse. It will take some time before you can master the price movements and spot a trend from developing much before to make profits.

There are some checklists and dos and don’ts about share trading that you need to master before you begin to trade with real money. Share prices can change in a flash and you need to think on your feet and take decisions instantly. The prices won’t wait for you and could move in the other direction quickly.

You need to have a speedy internet connection as you will have to trade online. Unless you can spot swings and possible stock price behavior well ahead, there is every chance of losing money.

Volatility is the primary characteristic of the stock market and you need to be on your toes and need to choose the right broker. As trading is done online, you need to check the reviews of different brokers before registering with one of them to trade in stocks. Trader reviews are the best sources of getting the accurate information as they post their experiences at forums and come out with their experiences at a chat site.

Brokers are supposed to be your trading partners and choosing the right broker is a challenge as you will need detailed trading statements regularly. It is a matter of trust between you and the broker. Your best bet would be to learn initially the ins and outs of stock trading and start off with small money investments. By trading online, you can place limit orders depending on your buy and sell judgment.

Learn to put stops

Before placing an order for buying or selling, you should factor in the fees and commission of the broker so that you know when to close your deal. This problem is primarily faced by newcomers in stock trading as they trade small and don’t make profits with most of the money going to pay brokerages.

Buy and sell alerts by brokers are sent to mobile phones of traders and the more interconnected you can be with the broker the better. There are several tools these days to facilitate your trade and they include state of the art software.

Check the level of security that is available at the broker’s site and the customer support and service offered. But you should be on your guard as far as passwords and security measures for personal information are concerned. Scams are not unknown and it is better to stay alert all through.

Share trading online requires limiting your losses and ratcheting up profit making chances. Learning share trading also means effectively putting stops as soon as you fix up a deal so that you can make money even on the go.

The biggest question about trading is how and where to learn trading in India. This cannot be answered in a definite way. The answer to this question is simple as you need to learn stock market first or Forex trading in India in addition to this. You need to learn the details about the trade and its trends and likewise you can go ahead with your learning how to trade.

Learn Trading in shares here: http://www.nriinvestindia.com/learn-trading.html

There are many way in which you can know about how and where to learn trading. You must follow some of these steps. The first golden rule of learning trading is to never start a trade with borrowed money. It is very risky to begin your new trade with rented money. You may not be successful at your first attempt and have a loss. On top of that you may have to repay the loan money. There are many less chances to succeed at a first go. So, think many a time before you take a loan to start your business.

Second way to learn how and where to trade is to think over and over again on which trade to begin. Do not indulge or rush into a trade about which you do not have any idea or experience. As per surveys, it is seen that 90% of people indulge themselves into such trades about which they have no idea. So, from before, you should make yourself aware of this fact. If you still be careless, you will start getting margin calls. After some time, you will be fed up of these calls and stop you’re trading.

After you settle down with a trade, you need to know more about it. You may able to know about the trade online. Minute information is available on the internet. There are many classes that may help you in understanding about trading. Thus, third way to learn how and where to trade is to join some of these classes. These classes state that they can teach you trading in few days. So, you can enrol in these classes. You may also learn how and where to trade from online. Selecting a place where to trade is very important. For example, if you are going to run a restaurant then you have to find a prime located place. Prime locations can be beside schools, colleges, offices or nearby factories. This will help in fetching of crowds to your restaurant. In this way, your trade will take a hike and grow.

In a word, derivative is meant for financial asset like contracts, different types of options, security deposits which are mortgaged. You should know that the particular value of the derivatives relies on the underlying property/asset financial tool. Let us examine how derivative trading performs in India. NSE has brought a new plan S&P CNX Nifty3 in the year of 2000. With the enactment of the plan/scheme, derivative industry has entered into India.

To open a FREE derivative trading account in India, please visit:

http://www.nriinvestindia.com/derivatives-trading.html

The major objective of this S&P CNX Nifty3 is to give the golden opportunity to international traders/ foreign investors like FIIs to come to India for making investment in the domestic Forex trading in the country.

Frankly speaking, at the initial stage, the response was not good enough because of the absence of the provision for profitable derivatives to tackle the critical situation. According to the analysts, at the time there was no upgraded and modern financial foundation in the stock market and for this reason, the whole concept on the derivative project faced failure.

Study Various Features

There are a number of factors which are responsible for the inordinate delay in starting the derivative marketing/trading in Indian Stock Exchange. Frankly speaking, to successfully run the derivative business, there is requirement of a highly sophisticated infrastructure which will be fully equipped with computer lab for enhancing the online trading, the well decorated foray and the proper janitorial services. In addition, Indian market at that point of time was facing the financial crunch, low investment, lower percentage of the foreign revenues and many more shortcomings.

Check Background

However, this fantastic and well planned profitable business was started with full fledge in 2000. Since then lot of experiment and research have been going on how to make this trading much more popular and profitable so that people will get new ways to earn huge amount of money without facing hazard or financial burden. Frankly speaking, let me tell you that right now the derivative market in India is very bright and prosperous. It will expand at rapid speed if the proper care is taken.

According to the experts and analysts, NSE and BSE have gained the adequate profit in this year. Their effort is a matter of praiseworthy. If you do vast study u will find that OTC contracts have earned bagged much popularity and recognition in the Indian derivative trading.

If you look back to check the background of the development in the area of derivative trading, you will come to know that long way back in 1875, the derivative was extensively traded in the shape of future contracts. Again in the case of forward contract which includes essential hard products, currency or any type of security, India also performs excellently. OTC type agreement has earned maximum popularity in this country.

FRA is a sort of contract which is basically utilized for lending or borrowing currencies for the limited period of time on the deposited principal in future. This is a contract in which both parties will get involved to make a fantastic financial dealing on the specific percentage of interest for the particular limited period of time that has been fixed at an earlier date. Let me tell you that there is a huge prospect in this FRA market in India.

Option is a type of written agreement in which purchaser has legal permission to do business or trading but he is not under the legal compulsion to trade with the second party. He is not compelled to get involved in any dealing or exchange of a specific commodity/underlying property. You can choose the option in the form of OTC contracts. It is of different kinds and you should know the multi-functionalities of this specific contract. Options in the form of equities are now available for excellent trading in India. You can try your luck by opting for the equity option to earn profits.

Conclusion

Lastly, on behalf of the government, a number of steps have been taken to revitalize the derivative market in India. SEBI has already offered their full support in the case of giving legal consent/authorization to mutual funds for expanding derivative trading. It is good indication for the speedy development in this arena.

As per the financial advisors, to energize the financial industry and derivative marketing in the country, there is the requirement of the proper financial infrastructure and powerful machinery to speed up the exchange process by paying off the dues or solving disputed issues for bringing mobility to this internationally recognized trading in India.
